We offer a range of tours and holiday package below we have set out our terms and conditions:

BOOKING PROCESS

1. A booking request may be submitted by the Traveler either in writing, orally or electronically. Once the booking request receive Explore Languedoc will send:
-A full description of the vacation package or tour with a quotation
-A booking form and/or a proforma invoice (acting as a contract)
-A copy of the terms & conditions
-Explore Languedoc Bank details
The customer needs to return the booking form or proforma invoice, signed to confirm they accept the terms of the booking.
At this point, the deposit (specific for each packages) must be paid to Explore Languedoc in euro, all bank fees are at the customer charge.

2. A booking request becomes binding once the Traveler has received a confirmation email from Explore Languedoc regarding the booking.

3. The Travel Agreement, contract between the Traveler and Explore Languedoc, shall take effect through the remission of a deposit or full payment.

4. All names, titles and initials of Travelers should be correctly given at the time of booking ( copy of the passport of each person who is part of the booking).

5. Service providers (such as accommodation, restaurant) are not authorized by Explore Languedoc to issue guarantees or make agreements that extend beyond or conflict with the booking confirmation or Travel Agreement provided by Explore Languedoc. Explore Languedoc shall not be liable for any claims lodged by the Traveler as a result of such guarantees or agreements.

6.  If individual services are arranged by Explore Languedoc on behalf of specified third parties (car rental, transportation, excursions, etc.) the contractual terms and conditions of the relevant service provider shall apply (particularly with respect to cancellations and changes).

 7. Explore Languedoc has the right to make individual changes to the contracted services on justified grounds due to significant and unforeseeable circumstances, provided such do not adversely affect the overall structure of the journey, became necessary after the conclusion of the Travel Agreement and were not caused by a breach of good faith on the part of Explore Languedoc. Explore Languedoc is required to notify the Traveler of any service changes without delay.

 

PRICES & PAYMENT

1. Explore Languedoc vacation package or day tours prices are in Euro. Our vacation packages include accommodation, and transportation; as well as activities or excursions as per vacation package description. Our tours include transportation and english speaking guide. Additional services will be quoted for upon request.
Traveler shall account for other expenses such as foreign departure, security, customs, immigration, agricultural, passenger facility charges and international transportation tax. Tips/gratuities; passports; visa; baggage and personal insurance; ticketing; beverages and food not listed under inclusions in the travel product (these items are billed to you before leaving the hotel/restaurant); and all other items of a personal nature.

2. According to Article L. 211-8 of the Tourism Code, tour packages listed on Explore Languedoc wesbsite or sent via email as a PDF to the customer prior the booking are intended to inform the buyer before he confirms the booking, about all the services provided such as transport, tours, accommodation, and, in addition, the price, terms of payment, cancellation and modifications of the tour. Customers should ensure they have read all the information concerning the tour package.

3. Price quotations are subject to change without notice until a booking has been confirmed.

4. Payments can be conveniently made by secured wire transfer or online using Visa, Mastercard or Paypal.

5. Explore Languedoc is not responsible for interbank payment commissions applied between your bank and our processing bank.

DEPOSIT / BALANCE

Vacation Package

1. 30 % of the total package price is required at the time of booking. Explore Languedoc will not be able to take any action to book the package until this deposit is received.

2. The balance is due 56 days before the date of arrival. ( It can differs from package to package offered by Explore Languedoc and will be specify at the time of booking )

3. In the case of bookings made less than 56 days before departure, the journey price shall become due in full upon booking.
( It can differs from package to package offered by Explore Languedoc and will be specify at the time of booking )

4. If payments are not received on time, Explore Languedoc has the right to cancel the bookings without any liability.

Tours / Excursions

1. A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking. Explore Languedoc will not be able to take any action to book the tour until this deposit is received.

2. Final payment is due 7 days before departure.

3. In the case of bookings made less than 45 days before departure, the journey price shall become due in full upon booking.

4. If payments are not received on time, Explore Languedoc has the right to cancel the bookings without any liability.
Refunds are not available once a tour / vacation package has commenced or in respect of any tour, excursion, pass, ticket, package, accommodation, meals or any other services utilized.

5. Explore Languedoc reserves the right to make itinerary modifications as needed.

6. Explore Languedoc can accept, that the remain balance can be paid the first day of the trip by cash.

LATE BOOKING

1. Explore Languedoc keep the right to accept or not a late booking for a vacation packages or excursions if conditions of availability of the services asked can be provided.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Vacation Package

1. In case of an exceptional event or the impossibility of making the reserved vacation package available to the client or in the event of force majeure, Explore Languedoc reserves the right to offer the client to choose an other date or equivalent package.

2. Any cancellation, even partial, must be made in writing and sent to info@explorelanguedoc.com.

3. Each vacation package has a different cancelation policy due to the different services offers by the service provider ( self catering residence, Barge, Boat rental ). The cancelation policy will be specify at the time of booking depending on the package choosen.

In case of early departure or no show no refund will be made.

We recommend that you take out trip cancellation insurance with your insurance broker at the time of your initial payment to us.

Tours / Excursions

1. Clients are permitted to cancel their bookings. To cancel a booking, please notify Explore Languedoc by email or SMS.

Tours cancelled within 7 days of tour date will not receive a refund.

2. No shows are not eligible for a refund.

3. Tours cancelled outside of 7 days will be refunded their deposit.

LIABILITY

1. Traveler acknowledges by his acceptance, that Explore Languedoc, in making arrangements for accommodation, transportation or any service in connection with the itineraries of individual travelers; shall not be liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity, liability or expense to person or property due to act of default by any accommodation provider, carrier or other company or person providing services included in the tours.

2. Explore Languedoc is not liable for personal injury, death, damage to property or other loss whether arising from accident, cancellations, delays to bad weather, industrial action or any other reason beyond their control incurred by the customer before the start of the holiday.

3. Explore Languedoc accept no responsibility for any sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, strikes, machinery breakdown, government restrains, acts of war and terrorism, epidemic, defect in any vehicle of transportation or for any misadventure or casualty or any other causes beyond their control.

4. In the event that customers are refused entry into France due to incorrect documentation (passport, visa, health certificates, etc.) the Company accepts no liability and the standard cancellation procedure will apply. or any other situation that may arise.

5. Insurance against personal accident, injury or illness and loss, damage. Explore Languedoc clients should insure against all such possibilities before making their booking.

6. On the rare occasion where Explore Languedoc must cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (ex. natural disaster or civil unrest) all payments received to date will be refunded, which constitutes full settlement.

7. Explore languedoc reserves the right to cancel, change or substitute any service.

 

This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Traveler and Explore Languedoc.

PROCESSUS DE RÉSERVATION

Une demande de réservation peut être soumise par le voyageur soit par écrit, soit verbalement ou électroniquement.

Une demande de réservation devient contraignante à la réception par le voyageur d’Explore Languedoc de l’acceptation de la commande par e-mail.

Le contrat de voyage, conclu entre le voyageur et Explore Languedoc, prend effet par la remise d’un acompte ou le paiement intégral.

Tous les noms, titres et initiales de nos voyageurs doivent être correctement indiqués au moment de la réservation.

Explore Languedoc n’autorise pas les fournisseurs de services (tels que l’hébergement, les restaurants) à émettre des garanties ou à conclure des accords allant au-delà de la confirmation de réservation ou de l’accord de voyage fourni par Explore languedoc, ou en contradiction avec ceux-ci. Explore Languedoc ne peut être tenu responsable des réclamations déposées par le voyageur à la suite de telles garanties ou accords.

PRIX ET PAIEMENT

Les prix sont sujets à changement sans préavis jusqu’à ce qu’une réservation soit confirmée.

Les paiements peuvent être effectués facilement par virement bancaire sécurisé ou en ligne avec Visa, Mastercard ou Paypal.

Explore Languedoc n’est pas responsable des commissions de paiement interbancaire appliquées entre votre banque et notre banque de traitement.

ARRHES

Un acompte de 30% du montant total du prix du forfait est requis au moment de la réservation et Explore Languedoc ne pourra prendre aucune mesure pour réserver le voyage tant que ce dépôt n’aura pas été reçu.

Si les paiements n’étaient pas reçus à temps, Explore Languedoc aurait le droit d’annuler les réservations sans engager sa responsabilité.

Aucun remboursement n’est disponible une fois la visite commencée ou en rapport avec une visite, une excursion, un pass, un billet, un forfait, un hébergement, des repas ou tout autre service utilisé.

Explore Languedoc se réserve le droit de modifier l’itinéraire en fonction des besoins.

RESPONSABILITÉ

Explore Languedoc n’est pas responsable des dommages corporels, des pertes en vies humaines, des dommages matériels ou autres dommages résultant d’accidents, d’annulations, de retards ou de toute autre situation pouvant survenir. Les clients de Explore Languedoc doivent s’assurer contre toutes les possibilités de ce type avant de faire leur réservation.

Dans les rares cas où Explore Languedoc doit annuler un circuit en raison de circonstances imprévues, de catastrophes naturelles ou de troubles civils, tous les paiements reçus à ce jour seront remboursés, déduction faite du dépôt de garantie, ce qui constitue un règlement complet.

POLITIQUE D’ANNULATION

Les clients sont autorisés à annuler leurs réservations. Pour annuler une réservation, veuillez en informer Explore Languedoc par e-mail ou par SMS. Les visites annulées dans les 7 jours suivant la date de la visite ne seront pas remboursées. En cas de non-présentation (no-show) ne sont pas admissibles à un remboursement. Les tours annulés en dehors de 7 jours seront remboursés de leur dépôt.
